Community Mediation
In community mediation, we resolve disputes between individuals as well as in larger organizations,
such as businesses, churches, or homeowners associations.  We commonly mediate conflicts
involving:
Neighborhood problems such as noise, pets, property
damage, property lines
Consumer/business conflicts
Landlord/tenant disputes
Employment issues or grievances
Household disputes
Small claims, civil or minor criminal cases referred by
the courts
Cross-cultural difficulties
Youth Mediation
The Dispute Settlement Center serves the needs of youth in Henderson  County by providing direct
services to individuals, in the schools, and through the juvenile court system.
